Thermo-acoustic insulation systems for production lines

Meccanica Italia manufactures stainless steel panels, of various thicknesses and finishes, inside of which polyurethane is foamed, which, according to applications and requests, can be associated with a layer of rock wool; this specific technology allows to achieve high insulation values, making it possible to create panels capable of insulating up to 250°C.

The panels, tested for industrial usage, are made to mechanically withstand static load and thermal expansion while maintaining the chemical and physical properties unchanged.

For our panels we use rigid polyurethane in honeycomb form with an average density of 43 kg/mc. The thermosetting effect is given by the very dense cross-linking that leads to a polymerization with a uniform distribution and a homogeneous interfacial adhesion.

The technology developed in the realization of the paneling allows the construction of a self-supporting insulation that, in addition to maintaining very high levels of thermal insulation, facilitates assembly, reduces heat loss and problems related to thermal expansion of different materials, finally eliminates the problems of corrosion of the supporting carpentry resulting in costs reduction.
